The Construction Finance Group has been set up to specialise the sourcing, introduction and access of alternative funding for construction projects across New Zealand.
The team leverages an extensive 15 years of offshore institutional and private relationships as well as 20+ years of industry and commercial experience across diverse business sectors.

Mark is New Zealand based. He is an experienced business owner and venture capital executive delivering commercial operations, projects, asset and financial management in the construction, manufacturing, FMCG and utilities sectors, since 1986.
Leadership, business and finance management experience include due diligence on development & commercial opportunities for client investments, and delivering extensive project and field operations in NZ for utility service providers. Customer driven, skilled in relationship development, a solution provider, and passionate about developing start-ups through collaboration, consultancy and alternative financing. Management consulting in UK & NZ include delivering strategic outcomes for high profile clients. Experience includes successful start-ups of construction, finance, consulting and contracting businesses with strategic growth and successful performance outcomes.

Derek is Hong Kong based. He is an executive leader with 27 years of experience in financial services. Derek is an accomplished COO with global experience across trading, sales, and operations. With expertise in financial & business management, product development, strategic planning and process efficiency he has delivered solutions to grow, integrate and restructure business lines that have strengthened and transformed organisations. As a strategic thinker who allows others to see beyond the status quo, he provides analytical insights, unique solutions, and simple execution. Derek is passionate about disruptive innovation and an API economy and has completed a Massachusetts Institute of Technology course on Financial Technology and Future Commerce.
